I started this cooking blog due to my lifelong interest in cuisine.
I’ve worked in restaurants off and on the past twenty-five years from fry cook to professional chef and kitchen manager. However, my main employment lies elsewhere. For me, cooking is my main hobby and passion.
My main interests focus on California and Mediterranean cuisine. I’m a huge fan of organic options, farmer’s markets and the locavore movement.
I try to keep cooking simple in order to focus on the inherent flavor of different meats and vegetables.
Having been born and lived overseas, I enjoy trying food from all regions of the world.
The main reason I started this blog is to share my global culinary journey and to force me to continue cooking and writing, two of main passions in life.
